Snow Silhouette

 21cm x 29.5cm without the frame and is created with acrylic, silver leaf and collage.
It is framed and ready to hang either portrait or landscape orientation. The Frame dimensions are 33cm x 43ccm x 6cm deep.
 
The snow in Australia transforms the backdrop of snow gums and mountains, blue skies and skies of white.
The snow in Japan with onsens and juhyo or "ice trees" - where snow covered trees take on different forms.
This little abstract is a musing on the snow and how it catches the light and covers things only to reveal something different. The silver changes in the light, creating movement and transformation.
 
The frame has acetate not glass so it will not break during shipping. The artwork is at the back of the box frame and the acetate hovers above it - you can clearly see all the texture but the inner of the frame will not get dusty.
